Born in 1974, Jean-François lives and works in Quebec City. Over the years, he has exhibited his works in solo exhibitions in Quebec City (Galerie Rouje), Montreal (Galerie Olivier Martin, Galerie Bernard), New York City (Jadite Galleries) and Paris (Galerie Étienne de Causans).

In 2009, in collaboration with the Kérosène gallery, he gave performances at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art. He repeated this in 2010 at the Centre Pompidou.

His paintings can be found in the collections of Loto-Québec (4) and Colart (2).
